All current models of Belmont dental chairs have been through vigorous durability testing prior to mass production ensuring total reliability for the operator.
Each chair design has been tested to a ten-year life cycle of use, with 108,000 movements fully loaded to the chair maximum safe working patient weight to regulation IEC60601-1/ ISO 6875 specification. (Which is equivalent to: 10 Years x 240 Days per year x 15 Patients per day x 3 chair movements per patient).
All Belmont treatment centres, individual chairs, units and dental lights are warranted for a period of five years from the date of delivery to the original owner. The warranty covers mechanical, electrical and workmanship faults, under normal working conditions.
Upholstery, paintwork, plating and all handpiece hoses are not warranted, unless they are reported to Takara Belmont (UK) and proved to be defective at the time of delivery.
Failure due to natural wear and tear of any component is not warranted. OEM factory build-in options (ie: fibre optics, scalers, motors, separators, CVS Kits etc) carry a warranty as recommended by the individual manufacturer.
All Belmont intra oral x-rays are warranted for two years from the date of delivery to the original owner. The warranty covers mechanical, electrical and workmanship faults, under normal working conditions. Paintwork and plating are not warranted unless they are reported to Takara Belmont (UK) and proved to be defective at the time of delivery.
Takara Belmont (UK) Ltd are not responsible for any failure caused by misuse of the equipment or damage caused due to poor installation by a non-authorised company.
The warranty policy applies to equipment purchased from and installed by an authorised Takara Belmont (UK) Ltd dealer. Labour will be charged on warranty work after the first year.
In order to maintain & prolong the longevity of your Belmont equipment, we highly recommend using our Hygiene & Care products.
All of our dental products are supplied with a full EU Declaration of Conformity and certification to the standard complying with ISO 13485. Any modifications or alterations made after certification may affect your warranty as the responsibility for EU Declaration of Conformity and electrical safety will transfer to the modifier.
